Serbian president confers with Turkish business community

Nikolić, who is heading the Serbian delegation on a two-day official visit to Turkey that started on Monday, is attending the 12th meeting of the Serbia-Turkey Business Council dedicated to possibilities to expand the economic cooperation between the two countries.

Around 50 Serbian businesspeople are participating in the forum, including Milos Bugarin, the President of Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (PKS).

Serbia’s business delegation comprises representatives of Serbian companies who already have business relations with Turkish companies or are trying to place their products in Turkey.

These are mostly companies dealing with agriculture and food industry, companies dealing with the production of vehicles, furniture, paper and cardboard, but also those dealing with tourism and information technology.

The delegation also includes the only Serbian investor in Turkey, who represents Bomex Holding, the core business of which is production and placement of products of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy.
