Serbia’s Energoprojekt announced March 13 one of its units has signed contracts worth a combined EUR7m in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, newswires reported.

Energoprojekt Entel and Qatars Kahramaa have signed a contract for the development of a medium-term strategy for supplying Qatar with electricity and water, the Serbian company said in a statement submitted to the Belgrade bourse. Contracts were also signed with Qatar Petroleum and Qatalum as well as with Qatari construction companies, while Energoprojekt and Oman’s Public Authority for Electricity and Water have signed a consultancy agreement for the construction of water distribution networks in the region of Al Dakhliyah.
