State to help Gosa create new jobs in Zabari

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Regional Development Verica Kalanovic delivered today in Zabari to representatives of the company FSO Gosa the Contract on realisation of the investment project which will enable the creation of 52 new jobs.

Under the Investment support programme, the Ministry approved €208,000 to Gosa, or €4,000 per new employee.

Kalanovic said that Gosa will invest around €750,000 in the expansion of production in the factory in Zabari and recalled that this company currently has 257 workers and exports its products to all major markets of Europe, mainly to Germany.

She reiterated that the Investment support programme is the best incentive for creating jobs and added that in the past two years Gosa already used this programme to open 107 new jobs and for investments.

For this purpose, the company received €1.7 million in subsidies, Kalanovic specified.
