Switzerland supported the project of youth employment in Serbia with 400 thousand euros

The project of two governments, Switzerland and Serbia, “Knowledge to work” (E2E), announced a new call for employers “Employees tailored to your business”, worth 400 thousand euros.
Under this call, financial and technical support is provided to employers from target locations for organizing on-the-job training for jobseekers. The mentioned support program will facilitate the process of selection, training or preparation for employers, as well as employment, it was announced from this project.
“With the aim of improving the position of young people in the Serbian labor market through the modernization of employment policies and training of young people for the required jobs, the E2E project will implement an on-the-job training program in the following districts: Raska, Rasina, Pirot, Nisava, Pomoravlje, Zajecar, Macva, Sumadija and Moravica,” it is stated in the announcement.
“Depending on available resources, training conditions and other specific conditions, there is a possibility of consideration and application from other territories. Employers interested in organizing on-the-job training are invited to fill out and submit an application form via the “SmartME” platform or contact one of the local project partners in Kragujevac, Krusevac, Novi Pazar, Pirot and Knjazevac using the contact details found on the project website,” the statement said.
Applications from interested employers will be received until the available funds are spent, and no later than March 31, 2021.
“The evaluation of submitted applications will be done on a monthly basis. Guidelines for applicants and application forms can be downloaded from the E2E project website: www.znanjemdoposla.rs/poziv-za-poslodavce/. The aim of the project ‘Knowledge to work’ is to increase employability and employ young people and indirectly faster, sustainable and inclusive economic development of Serbia,” reads the statement, Novi Magazin reports.
