Tanjug receives Brand Leader Award

anjug received on Wednesday the Brand Leader Award from the Regional Conference Agrobiznis and Mass Media International for great contribution to informing the public about the activities of the Serbian economy. The award was presented as part of the Regional Conference Agrobiznis: Natural, Market and Investment Brand of Southeast Europe, held in Belgrade.

The jury said that Tanjug had been a synonym for objectivity, speed and professionalism for years.

The agency has become one of the most important factors on Serbia’s media scene by putting out more than 400 news items on politics, economy, society, culture and sport on a daily basis.

Tanjug’s economy desk has been keeping track and reporting on all economy related events in Serbia and the world for years now, being the biggest contributor of information on the Serbian economy for the general public, the jury noted.

Danube Foods Group, Atlantic Group, Plantaze 13. juli from Montenegro, Biovega Group from Croatia, Victoria Group, ITN from Croatia and Mercator Group also won the award.

The Novi Sad Fair won the award for organizing the annual international agricultural expo, which will mark its 80th anniversary this year.

The Novi Sad Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops also won the award. It marks its 75th anniversary this year.
