Tariffs on import of cold, hot-rolled steel sheets temporarily abolished

The Serbian government adopted at its session the Decision on abolishing the Office of the National Decentralisation Council due to the need for reorganisation of public administration and reduction of costs, and employees will be transferred to the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Self-Government.

The government has decided to temporarily lift tariffs on imports of cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel sheets in order to overcome difficulties in the business activities of companies that use these materials that emerged when Zelezara Smederevo steelworks which produced these types of steel sheets stopped working.

The government passed the Decision on the appointment of Milan Stevovic as Head of the Administration for Execution of Penalties of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.

Also, the government appointed Vladan Milosevic as acting general director of public company PEU Resavica, and Zoran Krejovic as director of the State Geodetic Agency.
