The Republic Bureau of Statistics has published new data on the Serbian economy

Gross domestic product (GDP) in 2019 amounted to 45 million euros in current prices and compared to 2018 it was nominally higher by 6.8 percent and really by 4.2 percent, the Republic Bureau of Statistics announced today .
Observed by activities, the most significant share in the formation of last year’s GDP had the sector of manufacturing (13.7 percent), the sector of wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles (11.4%), the real estate sector (6.9%), followed by the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector (6.0%) and the construction sector (5.7%).
According to the aggregates of GDP use, the share of expenditures for individual consumption of the household sector was 67.1 percent, for individual consumption of the government sector expenditures were 9.3%, and for collective consumption of the government sector 7.3 percent.
Gross fixed capital formation was 22.5 percent, exports of goods and services 51 percent, and imports of goods and services 61 percent, Novosti reports.
