Transport: Serbia, Turkey sign draft air-traffic accord

Representatives of Serbia and Turkey signed in Belgrade a draft of the new inter-state agreement on air transportation with the aim to improve regular air traffic between the two countries.

The Serbian Civil Aviation Directorate stated that the agreement will regulate, in the most modern way, the relations between Serbia and Turkey in the field of civil aviation, and enable the development of the air industry.

The heads of the two countries’ delegations, the state secretary of the Serbian Ministry for Transportation, Miodrag Poledica, and the director of the General Directorate for Civil Aviation of Turkey, Bilal Ekshi, also signed a memorandum of understanding during the two-day talks.
