Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic talked with the owner of the Turkish company Tashyapi, Emrulah Turanli, about cooperation and investments in the energy infrastructure sector.
The mentioned company is engaged in the construction of the part of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway, from Sremska Raca to Kuzmin, and the reconstruction of the section of the Novi Pazar-Tutin road.
Mihajlovic stated that she would like to find a way to cooperate with this company in the field of energy as well.
We have many projects and I believe that some of them will be attractive for your company, she said, reminding that we are at the beginning of creating a new energy infrastructure, since we have not built any energy capacity for 30 years.
According to her, the space for investments is huge and these are projects worth more than 20 billion euros.
The cooperation we achieved while leading the Ministry of Transport encourages us to invest in the energy sector as well. We want to continue talks on new projects and opportunities to invest in that area as well, Turanli said, according to a statement published on the Government’s website, eKapija reports.
