Opening the fair, Belgrade School of Shipping principal Tatjana Djokic pointed out that Serbia has great nautical potential, which could be better exploited.

“The exhibitors at this fair are people who work in sailing, who share a love of sailing vessels, the sea and rivers, and who are not affected by political crises,” she said.

Over the next five days, the fair will also host experts lectures on nautical economy and tourism, unexploited opportunities for attracting foreign ships, and building a network of marinas, berths and accompanying infrastructure.
