Serbia will receive 4.6 million euros non-refundable through the European Union’s PRO Plus program for infrastructural equipping of industrial zones in 18 local governments.

The EU PRO Plus program is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of European Integration, and is aimed at construction or reconstruction projects and infrastructural equipping of industrial zones, tourist locations, as well as projects for the preparation of technical documentation for the purpose of business infrastructure development.

“In 18 cities and municipalities with grants from the European Union, business infrastructure in industrial zones will be improved, as well as tourist infrastructure, which will create conditions for new investments and new jobs,” said Tanja Miščević, Minister for European Integration.

The EU will support projects for the development of sustainable tourism in Knjaževac, Aleksinac, Mali Zvornik and Kraljevo with more than one million euros.

Bajina Bašta, Surdulica, Loznica, Paraćin, Zaječar, Kosjerić and Lajkovac will receive support in the amount of around 423,000 euros for the preparation of technical documentation for the development of business infrastructure.
