At the National Bank of Serbia’s Executive Board meeting of 11 June 2015, the NBS issued a licence to Raiffeisen Future VPF management company to set up and manage Raiffeisen Euro Future VPF.

Raiffeisen Future will thus become the third VPF management company managing two VPFs whose investment portfolios differ by currency. Namely, the investment policy of the new fund Raiffeisen Euro Future envisages investment in foreign currency-denominated instruments – chiefly government securities and bank deposits.

Once this VPF starts operating, there will be four companies managing seven VPFs in the Serbian market. This will increase competition in the pension fund market and provide current and prospective VPF members with a broader range of possibilities for this type of saving for old age.
