The cooperation between Serbia and Austria is excellent, in particular in agriculture and environmental protection, says Serbian Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic, who is on a two-day visit to Austria.
The cooperation will be intensified through experience-sharing, joint projects and Austrian assistance in the EU accession process, Bogosavljevic Boskovic, who is visiting Austria at the invitation of Austrian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management Andra Rupprechter, said on Tuesday.
Bogosavljevic Boskovic and her aides met with Rupprechter and officials of his ministry on Monday, and had the opportunity to visit Austrian organic food producers, which is of particular interest to Serbia.
Much can be learned from Austria, she said, noting that around 20 percent of the total output in Austria is organised and produced organically, while the percentage is much lower in Serbia despite great, but still untapped potentials.
