Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic discussed in Belgrade on Wednesday with IMF representatives further improvement of the business climate in Serbia and a cadastre reform, which will be the focus in the period to come.
A working meeting in the Serbian government building was attended by IMF Mission head James Roaf, IMF resident representative in Serbia Sebastian Sosa, World Bank Country Manager Tony Verheijen and EBRD representatives.
“We talked about a continuation of reforms in the Serbian railway sector, where we are at this point as regards existing road projects, and about a cadastre reform. There are two paths that are important – (one is) to further improve the climate for investments, and the cadastre reform is the other part,” Mihajlovic told reporters in Topola, central Serbia.
