The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors on Thursday approved two more projects for Serbia worth a total of 124.9 mln euros (138.9 mln dollars).

The first project is an 89.8 mln euro (100 mln dollar) development loan that will go to the Serbian budget as assistance aimed at reducing the role of the state in managing commercial enterprises and creating an environment for better-quality jobs, the World Bank said in a statement.

The second is a 35 mln euro (38.9 mln dollar) investment project that will improve Serbia’s connectivity with the region and mobility of goods, services and people through completion of the construction of the Corridor X highway.
