Gazprom Neft interested in Petrohemija

Russian Gazprom Neft is interested in the acquisition of Pancevo based “Petrohemija”, the Ministry of Mining and Energy has announced. This information was confirmed by the President of the Board of Directors of the Russian company Alexander Dyukov during his conversation with the Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic. They talked at the margins of the 9th International Gas Forum in Saint Petersburg, the Ministry announced. Antic said the future of “Petrohemija” is of major significance and that it needs a strategic partner for investments, which should ensure long-term stability of the company. Dyukov said that Gazprom Neft has the potential interest in participation in finding of an adequate privatization modality of “Petrohemija”, and it was announced that Serbian government and this company will intensify and concertize talks on this company.
