Construction of new underground gas storage in Itebej

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has announced a call for all the parties interested in taking part in the provision of consulting services and preparation of the feasibility study for Srbijagas’ project. The final idea is realization and improvement of the gas pipeline network and construction of a new underground gas storage at the gas deposit in Itebej.

The project is financed from the EBRD’s loan in amount of 150 million euros, which was granted on February 9th.

The main goals of this call are: provision of assistance to Srbijagas and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), formed by Srbijagas in Novi Sad, during the implementation of the project and preparation of the feasibility study for additional gas interconnections.

– Realization of this job is expected to take place in the period from January 2011 to June 2013 – it is stated in the EBRD’s call, which is published on the bank’s website.

The advisers must have a significant experience in the activities related to rehabilitation of gas pipelines and construction of large underground gas storage.
