Significant investments in communal infrastructure and capital projects of one city in Serbia

At the session of the City Council of Vranje, held on December 17, the Business Programs with financial plans of certain public companies and institutions for 2021 were adopted, eKapija reports.
Also, the councilors adopted the Draft Development Plan of the city of Vranje for the period from 2021-2030. According to the draft decision on the arrangement of the city construction land for the next year, 31 percent more funds will be allocated for these purposes compared to 2020, it was announced at the session of the City Council.
As Slavoljub Stojmenovic, councilor for urbanism, communal activities, infrastructure and ecology and environmental protection, pointed out, this program is very ambitious, regardless of all the difficulties in 2020, and its value is 5.7 million euros.
820 thousand euros are planned for the arrangement of streets in the city, and 760 thousand euros are planned for the public lighting, construction of a new network and consumption of electricity.
As for capital facilities, it is planned to allocate 1.8 million euros, and for the construction of road and communal infrastructure in rural local communities in 2021, an investment of nearly 660 thousand euros is planned.
At the session of the City Council, the business plans of certain public companies and institutions were also discussed, Nova Ekonomija reports.
