Businessmen from around the world have facilities for entering Serbia

Business people from all over the world, foreign and domestic citizens who come to our country for work, at the initiative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, can cross the Serbian border by a simplified procedure, different from the rules that apply to other passengers, the Chamber said.
According to the initiative of the SCC, the Government of Serbia is to foreign and domestic citizens who come to the Republic of Serbia for business reasons, and upon entry do not have a negative RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 virus, issued by the reference laboratory of the country from which arrive, not older than 48 hours, allowed to cross the border with prior notice to the Chamber, and subsequently, within 24 hours of entering the country, to obtain and submit a negative RT-PCR test or antigen test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus, issued by the RS reference laboratory.
“Even in these circumstances, when most countries prescribe additional restrictions, Serbia has found a way to facilitate epidemiological measures, business people from all over the world, companies already present here and those who come for future jobs, by simplifying entry procedures for business, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce in performing the necessary formalities,” said Marko Cadez, President of PKS.
Cadez reminded that business trips and contacts of businessmen are not a matter of choice, but the need of business and expressed hope that the example of Serbia will be followed by other countries, so that companies all over the world, in the global health crisis, complete business with as little cost and time as possible and emerged from the pandemic with as few consequences as possible, the statement said.
According to the new rules, which are valid from January 21, owners, managers and employees of their companies who intend to come to Serbia for business reasons, will announce their arrival in advance to the SCC, which will inform the border police in a timely manner, so that they can cross the borders.
After entering the country, they will be tested in the Serbian reference laboratory, submit the test to the Chamber and, if negative, continue the planned activities.
For the announcement of arrival, information and support, it is necessary to contact the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia 48 hours before the planned entry into Serbia via email: inocovid19@pks.rs. The request addressed to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce should include the following information:
– Name and surname of the person who announces entry into Serbia for business reasons
– Passport number and name of the country that issued the passport
– A brief description of the business reasons for entering Serbia
– Date and place of entry into Serbia, flight number and name of the airline, ie registration number of the passenger motor vehicle
– Date of entry into Serbia and date of planned exit from Serbia
– Address where the person will stay while in Serbia
– Contact phone and e-mail address of the person during their stay in Serbia
The new procedures will not apply to people coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, who were previously allowed to enter Serbia without a PCR test, Danas reports.
