As for further development, the Dimitrovgrad-Sofia interconnection will be completed in June next year.
From October 1, Serbia will become a transit country for gas supply to Hungary and Central Europe, announced today the director of “Srbijagas”, Dusan Bajatovic.
– I think that in the first year it will be 6.5 billion cubic meters, then 8.5 billion, then 10 billion cubic meters from the direction of Serbia. We are finishing the construction of the compressor station, it should be finished in June, July – he specified as a guest on Prva TV.
Bajatovic estimated that the interconnection Dimitrovgrad-Sofia will be finished in June next year, and added that we will see what the competition will be like and how much gas will come from there.
– As for the Belgrade-Banja Luka gas pipeline, “Srbijagas” will help with the expropriation, and it would be good if we could do that before the construction of the highway to Belgrade, because it would be cheaper – said Bajatovic.
He added that the construction of the gas pipeline Belgrade-Valjevo-Loznica should begin and announced that the route from Leskovac to Vranje will be built, Srbija Danas reports.
