The Serbian pavilion at the upcoming World Exhibition “Dubai 2020” will cover 2,000 square meters

The pavilion will gather several hundred of our businessmen, engineers, IT experts who will present their products, services, inventions and ideas to 25 million people from October to March.
This was said at the opening of the presentation center of the Serbian Pavilion in the “Galerija” Shopping Center in Belgrade, where from today all visitors will be able to walk through the Serbian pavilion at the upcoming world exhibition with the help of modern VR glasses and to follow events in real time just as if they were in an exhibition.
The presentation center of the Serbian Pavilion was opened by the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and the General Commissioner of Serbia for “Expo 2020-Dubai” Tatjana Matic, who stated that participation in that exhibition is of great importance for our country due to concluding new business contracts and attracting foreign investors.
That is why, he adds, the decision was made for Air Serbia to organize a free charter flight for all our participants.
He adds that Serbia will have a rich program at the world exhibition, as well as numerous manifestations, while the Serbian pavilion will remain after the exhibition and will be transformed into a hub.
“The purpose and goal of all previous exhibitions, and it seems to me especially this one, is to show that technological progress must primarily be for the purpose of preserving the planet and more humane life,” said Matic.
She added that a visit of 25 million people is expected and compared that it is even eight times more than the people who watched the World Cup in football in Russia, 021 reports.
