Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates who are already investing in the Serbian economy want to expand their investments, and are especially interested in spa and health tourism, said today the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Cadez, ahead of the investment conference held within the World Exhibition Expo 2020 Dubai.
He pointed out that this is the first of five investment conferences held in Dubai by the Government of Serbia and the Development Agency of Serbia, with the support of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and added that he was proud that more than 150 businessmen from 77 companies from Serbia arrived in Dubai. Thematic weeks, dedicated to urban and rural development, will have a large number of meetings with business partners.
As it was emphasized at the first conference “Investing in Serbia: Real Estate”, Serbia is an attractive destination for investment, and the real estate sector offers numerous opportunities for further investments and development, which is a chance for investors, not only from the UAE, but from all over the world.
The goal is for Serbia to continue the investment cycle by attracting new investors, primarily with high-tech and advanced investment projects, which bring faster GDP growth and further economic development.
A large number of companies and potential investors attended the conference, which presented aspects and opportunities for investment in the construction of commercial real estate, as well as industrial and retail parks in our country.
The conference was officially opened by the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and the General Commissioner of Serbia for Expo, Tatjana Matic, who pointed out that she believes that this gathering will result in new investments in Serbia and contracting of many jobs, Danas reports.
