Citibank to increase its activity in Serbia and region

Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said today in the talks with representatives of Citibank that one of the most important goals of the Serbian government is to revive the economy and pointed to the advantages of Serbia as an investment area

The participants in the meeting looked at the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of banking and foreign investment, particularly telecommunications and energy.

Dacic welcomed the decision of Citibank to increase its activity in Serbia and the region.

The delegation of Citibank, which included Head of the Public Sector Group for Europe, Middle East and Africa Freddy Boom and Head of Citibank Office in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania Predrag Radlovacki, was led by Charles McVeigh, the Chairman of Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Banking, Global Wealth Management Partnership.
