Serbian Minister of Trade and telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and US Ambassador in Belgrade Michael Kirby have signed the memorandum of understanding in the field of information and communication technologies.
Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has attended the signing ceremony, and pointed that the goal of this document is to establish a closer cooperation between the governments, but also companies in USA and Serbia. Ljajic has stated that the memorandum represents an invitation to the America companies for investments in the Serbian economy, i.e. the IT sector. Ambassador Kirby has assessed that the memorandum is an important moment in the cooperation of the two countries, since the field of information technologies is of key importance in the strengthening of commercial ties.
