The project of the “Southern stream” section through Serbia is the biggest investment in the past six decades, worth two billion euros for the construction only. In an interview to the “Vecernje Novosti” daily, Bacevic said that the pipe line will enter Serbia over the Bulgarian border, near Zajecar, and will end after 415 km, near Paracin. We plan to make the documentation for a separate line towards Kosmet, via Nis, as well as another two connections – for the Republic of Srpska and Croatia. This spatial plan covers more than 40 municipalities, and after the realization of this project Serbia will become a regional energetic power, said the minister.
