Construction expectations have recovered as demand has remained stable and real estate prices have followed general inflation, compared to the beginning of 2023.

The economic mood in the European Union is approaching the moderately negative zone after slow GDP growth in the first quarter (1.2 percent) and stagnation in the second quarter.

Economic developments in the EU are driven by the recession in predominantly industrial economies, primarily in Germany, which has crossed the threshold of moderately negative expectations. Nevertheless, one should maintain conservatism in the evaluations of Serbia’s short-term growth, bearing in mind that our economic trends are closely linked to those in the EU, primarily in Germany, concludes this analysis, CEVES announced.
