Cheeses from Serbia on the list of the world’s best

Serbian cheese from Miroč, specifically Miročki cheese, secured the 44th spot on the list of the world’s best cheeses, according to the gastronomic website Taste Atlas.

In the regional context, Pljevaljski cheese claimed the notable ninth position, surpassing some well-known global cheeses. Njeguški cheese, representing the region, held the 34th place, while Livanjski cheese from Bosnia and Herzegovina secured the 45th position.

At the top of the list, Italian Parmesan claimed the first position, followed by Mozzarella in the second spot.
