Early this morning, shortly after 4 AM, a failure occurred in the platform used by all airlines at Belgrade’s “Nikola Tesla” Airport for passenger check-in, causing delays in flight departures. The issue was resolved within an hour by the airport’s IT staff and the support company responsible for the platform’s maintenance.

The malfunction led to a slowdown in the check-in process during the busy morning period, resulting in delays for several flights. Despite the disruption, the airport’s local infrastructure remained functional, and the airport does not anticipate significant changes to the overall flight schedule for the day.

The airport has assured passengers that all necessary services are working together to minimize the impact of this situation on passenger experience. They have also advised travelers to check the status of their flights on the airport’s website or through their respective airlines. Air Serbia reported that the system failure caused increased congestion at check-in counters, leading to delays, with some flights departing up to two hours later than scheduled.
