New public calls: Grants and loans for small businesses and manufacturing industry announced

The Ministry of Economy has announced two public calls: one for the Program to Support Small Businesses for Equipment Procurement and another for Grants from the Development Chance Program—Manufacturing Industry Line for 2024. The Development Chance Program is being implemented in collaboration with the Development Agency of Serbia and Bank Poštanska Štedionica. This program provides grants to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurs and cooperatives for purchasing equipment, real estate and improvements in energy efficiency and environmental impact.

Eligible entities can receive grants covering up to 50% of the net investment value. Applicants must contribute at least 5% of the investment cost from their own funds, with the remainder covered by a business bank loan. The total budget for this program is 600 million dinars, and the public call is open until funds are exhausted or May 31, 2025.

The second public call, the Small Business Support Program for Equipment Procurement, is aimed at small and micro businesses, entrepreneurs and cooperatives. This program has a budget of 800 million dinars and provides favorable loans and grants in collaboration with banks and leasing companies, including Poštanska Štedionica, OTP, Prokredit, NLB, AIK, Halk, Intesa, Eurobank Direct, Intesa Leasing, OTP Leasing, and Erste Leasing. Interested businesses should submit their applications for non-refundable aid along with their loan requests to one of these partner institutions.
