Until July, the Tax Administration’s inspectors conducted 2,159 checks on the recording of turnover through electronic fiscal devices. In 62.8% of these cases, or 1,356 inspections, temporary bans on business activities were imposed due to non-registration of turnover or failure to report workers, according to a recent announcement from the Tax Administration.

The inspections targeted participants at various events, including tourist, cultural, artistic, gastronomic, and fair gatherings. Key events covered in the controls included the Beer Fest, Music Week, Car Fair, Slaninijada, Kobasicijada, Pršutijada, Pasuljijada, Drina Regatta and the Trumpet Festival in Guča.

Among the 35 traffic checks involving fiscal devices, bans on operations were imposed in 24 cases due to the failure to issue fiscal invoices. During the first weekend of August, at the Assembly of Trumpeters in Guča, three temporary closures were enforced at six o’clock in the morning due to irregularities found.
