Green Energy and Waste Management Sectors are Up in SE Europe

The South-East European Congress on Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Sources and “Save the Planet” – the Waste Management & Recycling Conference & Exhibition are great opportunities for the leading players in the sectors to bring modern technologies to the Region and find new partners and clients. The events organized by Via Expo will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the period 13-15 April 2011.

Over 50 speakers from 18 countries will share their experience. The program consists of themes and discussions that are primarily oriented toward investors and municipalities, specialists from different industry branches. EE & Renewable Financing, Energy Efficiency and Decentralized Energy, RES Electricity, Smart Grid Platform, Waste management and Recycling are the topics to be discussed at the three-day forums. The hot topic is ‘Waste-to-Energy’. The Early Bird Registration of EE& RES and Eco Forum is open till 13 March. 

‘Low-Carbon Communities – Mayors Meet Opportunities’ is a free workshop for local and regional authorities organized by LG Action. It provides an update on local energy action in Central and Eastern Europe and presents the trends, opportunities and achievements of local governments to meet the vision of 100% renewable energy future by 2050. The First Business Forum ‘Solar Balkans 2011’ will show the opportunities for investment and production of solar devices and plants in the region of South-East Europe.

Exhibitors from 10 countries will display their state-of the-art products, solutions and services in the fields of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, waste management and recycling.  Among the participants are well known names like Enercon, Global Wind Power, Fronius, Hyundai, voestalpine Krems, Phono Technologies Switzerland, Franki Grundbau, Eurosol, Siemens, Solea, PowerWind, Srabag AG, Erema Engineering Recycling Maschinen, Sackl Anlagenbau GmbH, .A.S.A Bulgaria, Recycling Bulgaria, Meva Bulgaria, etc.
