The Serbian government authorized on Wednesday First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to sign a strategic partnership agreement between the Serbian airline Jat Airways and the national air carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Etihad Airways.
The government adopted the texts of the framework agreement, the agreement on assistance in providing services, investment agreement, shareholders’ agreement, and consultancy agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Etihad Airways PJSC from the UAE and Jat Airways.
The government authorized Serbia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to sign the documents which will ensure a strategic partner for revival and stability of the Serbian national airline, the release reads.
At its Wednesday sitting, the government also decided to call for applications for the position of directors of the public companies Official Gazette and Nuclear Facilities of Serbia.
