A competition has been announced in Serbia for the allocation of non-refundable incentive funds intended for agriculture

In accordance with the Support Program for the implementation of agricultural policy and rural development policy in Prokuplje for this year, a competition has been announced for the allocation of non-refundable incentive funds intended for agriculture in the total amount of 42 thousand euros.
Requests for the allocation of incentive funds intended for agriculture can be submitted by registered agricultural farms from the Prokuplje territory that are in active status, whose plant and livestock production is performed on the territory of Prokuplje, it is noted on the City’s website.
The grants are intended to support young people in rural areas aged 18 to 40, investments in the physical assets of agricultural holdings, as well as incentives for promotional activities in agriculture and rural development, credit support and artificial insemination.
Grants for physical assets of agricultural holdings for the dairy, meat, beekeeping, fruit, grapes, vegetables and flowers sector are given from 50% to 60%, and for young farmers up to 65% of the acceptable value of the investment without VAT.
All information regarding the competition and printed requests for the award of non-refundable incentive funds are taken over by farmers exclusively in the building of the City Administration of Prokuplje in office number 21.
Requests for the allocation of these funds are submitted by November 5, 2021 through the office of the City Administration of Prokuplje or by mail, in a sealed envelope marked “Commission for distribution and control of funds of the budget fund for agricultural development of the City of Prokuplje for 2021”, to City of Prokuplje, Tatkova no. 2, eKapija reports.
