The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, announced the arrival of a large German investor in Valjevo.
“We will sign the first agreement on the construction of a factory in Valjevo in fifteen or 20 days, if Covid allows it, where the average net salary will be around 1,000 euros,” Vucic said.
He stated that he hopes for another big factory, about which we have not revealed anything yet.
Vucic also pointed out that large sums of money, around 28-29 million euros, will be invested in bringing gas from Orlovaca to Valjevo.
“Sewerage is also planned, as well as water purifiers. From one backward country, you become something like Switzerland and Austria,” Vucic pointed out.
He also said that he hoped that the project for the General Hospital in Valjevo would be completed soon. That will be more than 10 to 12 million euros, stated Vucic.
By the way, Vucic visited the works on the construction of the fast road Iverak-Lajkovac. The Chinese company Shandong announced that the works will be finished even a year before the deadline – by December 2022.
As he pointed out, this will be important not only for the people from Valjevo, but also for the surrounding places, B92 reports.
