Serbian Infrastructure Minister Milutin Mrkonjić will also attend the opening.

The Beska Bridge is 2,205 meters long, with an estimated lifespan of 125 years. The bridge on Corridor 10 is called “the twin”, because it was built less then five meters from the old bridge.

It was contracted by Alpina company, using the latest technologies.

The old bridge, built in 1975, will continue to be used. At the time it was built, it was the longest bridge in Europe (2.5 kilometers), but was later shortened to 2,205 meters, which is also the length of the new bridge.
