Information from this public company say that the total sum of money approved for the Beška bridge construction is RSD 5,322,171,977.52 after the amount for lateness of the project has been deducted. In this company they say that a total of RSD 4,770,422,195.77 has been paid to Austrian company Alpina, while it is expected that the rest of the amount of RSD 551,749,781.76 will be paid in the following two weeks. This decision means that the investor has not given up on the price it offered at the end of January this year, when it signed a memorandum with the constructor. 42 out of 43 points were agreed upon, but the question regarding prolonging the terms of construction remained open. On this basis the constructor asked for additional money of as much as EUR 100 million.  In case the constructor is not satisfied with the final decision of the investor, they say in Putevi Srbije that the first instance to complain is the independent FIDIC engineer who is going to decide upon his attitude. If one party is not satisfied, the other party can initiate arbitrage.
