Belgrade Airport “Nikola Tesla” (AERO) in the first quarter of this year due to higher depreciation costs, after the application of new accounting standards, recorded a business loss of 1 million euros compared to last year’s operating profit of 407.5 thousand euros, the brokerage house Momentum announced.
The net loss of that company amounted to 875 thousand euros, while in the same period last year, the profit amounted to 262.5 thousand euros.
The business income of the “Nikola Tesla” Airport in the first quarter of this year was 1.23 million euros, which is an increase of 11.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
The largest item in operating revenues was the periodic concession fee, which amounted to 1.1 million euros and was slightly higher compared to the previous year, according to Momentum brokers.
The concessionaire of the Belgrade airport is the French corporation Vancy Airports, with which the Government of Serbia signed a concession agreement for a period of 25 years in March 2018, Danas reports.
