The City of Belgrade plans to install sensors for remote monitoring of noise levels at city locations that are recognized as “hot spots”, according to the public procurement announced by the Secretariat for Environmental Protection of the City of Belgrade.
The new noise control system should cost citizens 70 thousand euros without VAT (85 million euros with VAT), which is how much Belgrade estimates the value of the procurement.
It is stated that the problem of increased noise levels in the environment in Belgrade is becoming more pronounced, so that the collection and processing of data from sensors will enable “the organizational units of the City responsible for exceeding noise levels to act within their competences.”
The city is looking for a company that will rent the uiTOP platform to Belgrade and provide technical support in its work for a period of 12 months. The client should perform the assembly and disassembly of sensors, as well as their calibration at a maximum of 50 locations.
The subject of the procurement is also 20 solar systems for powering sensors and communication devices (gateways) with batteries that would provide autonomous operation for 48 hours.
The deadline for submitting bids is September 6, Nova Ekonomija reports.
