Belgrade’s international airport Nikola Tesla on July 14 had a record number of passengers in a single day.
The airport served 21,297 passengers last Friday – breaking this record for the second time in two weeks, Tanjug said it learned from the company.
Previously, June 30 saw the highest number of passengers in one day, while the previous record was set on September 2, 2016.
The airport has assessed that this new record will soon be surpassed, and that more than 600,000 passengers will be served in July – which would be another all-time high, this time at the monthly level.
