The Bulgarian Public Procurement Agency (PPA) has announced a plan to build a Bulgarian section of the gas pipeline between Bulgaria and Serbia, and the contracting company is Bulgartransgas.
At the council of ministers last Wednesday, the executive director of Bulgartrans, Vladimir Malinov, said that the company would start the public procurement of equipment for the construction of 62 kilometers of the Bulgarian section, setting the contract price at about 73 million euros, BTA agency reported.
The PPA said on its website that potential stakeholders should have a turnover of at least about 18m euros in the previous three financial years.
It is also necessary that in the previous five years they participated in the construction, rehabilitation or overhaul of the underground pipeline for natural gas, made of welded steel pipes.
The bidders should prepare an investment project for each phase of the project, and the company to which the job will be awarded will have to deliver construction materials and equipment, perform construction works and put the gas pipeline into operation, B92 reports.
