Business income is lower in agriculture and construction, higher in the ICT sector

Business income of non-financial companies in Serbia during the third quarter increased by 1.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the second quarter of this year, a growth of 3.1 percent was recorded, announced the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS).

In the information and communication sector, business revenues were higher by 6.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

Compared to the previous quarter of this year, the ICT sector saw a revenue growth of four percent.

Business revenues fell in agriculture by 11.3 percent and in industry and construction by 2.7 percent in the third quarter of this year compared to the third quarter of 2022.

Business expenditures in the non-financial business economy in the third quarter of 2023 fell by 1.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. If they are compared with the second quarter of this year, their growth is three percent.
