President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) Marko Cadez and President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (PKK) Safet Grdzaliju opened the regional conference of representatives of chambers of commerce of member countries of the Berlin Process in Vienna on Tuesday.

During the gathering in the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Cadez said that economic development is vital to political stability in the region, while economic development can be achieved only through dialogue and partnership.

Cadez said that the Western Balkans can become a region of success on condition that businessmen in the region act in agreement when making presentations on the third markets. Countries in the region could establish connections and companies could set up networks in order to be able to apply for major projects, he underscored.

The beginning of PKS-PKK cooperation constitutes a contribution to the economic cooperation in the region which can serve as the basis for political stability and social peace, all with the aim of accelerating the pace of EU integration, Grdzaliju said.
