Serbia’s Zijin Copper announced that over 1,500 new workers have been employed in two and a half years, and that salaries are regular and 54 percent higher than the average in Serbia.
“Today, the company employs 5,715 workers, and 97 percent of that number are Serbian citizens,” it is stated in the announcement.
The average salary in Zijin in the first half of the year was 830 euros, which is 7.8 percent more than last year and 19.3 percent more than in 2019.
As it is stated, during the two-and-a-half-year business in Bor and Majdanpek, Serbia Zijin Copper concluded contracts with local suppliers in the total value of 568 million US dollars, reports Tanjug.
