Turkish textile maker CCM Moda, which operates in Serbia under the name of Tibet moda, on Friday opened a factory in Cuprija, central Serbia, at a ceremony also attended by PM Aleksandar Vucic.

The ribbon was cut by Vucic, company owners Burak Galip Akkurt and Melih Tengul and Cuprija Mayor Ninoslav Eric, who all took a tour of the plant alongside Turkish Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay and chatted with workers.

There are plans for the factory to hire 250 workers in the first year of operation, with the figure expected to reach 600 and 1000 in the second and the third year, respectively.
