The Serbian dinar went up by 0.1 percent on Wednesday, putting the middle exchange rate with the euro at RSD 120.1003, the National Bank of Serbia has stated.
The Serbian currency was at its lowest this year on January 29, when EUR 1 = RSD 123.5774, and at its highest on March 20, when EUR 1 = RSD 119.9507.
Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 90 million and bought EUR 260 million on the interbank foreign exchange market to prevent excessive daily fluctuations of the exchange rate.
