Extremely successful economic year for Serbia
, NewsIn Serbia, 2021 ends as extremely successful compared to the previous one, but special attention should be paid to energy, it was concluded at the joint session of the Council for Coordination of Activities and Measures for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Growth and the Capital Investment Commission chaired by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
“This year ends as extremely successful, 2021 is a year of recovery compared to the previous, pandemic, but special attention should be paid to the challenges that are expected, and that is energy, given the complex situation in Europe,” the session concluded and the government’s Office for Cooperation with the Media announced.
It is added that “the fact that the spillover of import inflation from the surrounding countries cannot be completely influenced should not be ignored either.”
Brnabic said that it was necessary to focus on the first quarter of next year and on planning capital projects worth more than five million euros.
When it comes to inflation, it is expected to increase slightly at the beginning of the year, but also to return to the planned level during the year, it was emphasized at the session.
Ministers, members of the Council for Coordination of Activities and Measures for GDP Growth, submitted, as stated, a report on realized projects and plans for the next year, BizLife reports.
