Foreign tourist arrivals to Serbia rise 30% in Nov

he number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in November grew 30% on the year, reaching 86,936, official data showed.

In the eleven months through November, the number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia went up by 13% year-on-year and came in at 1,178,933, according to data from the national statistics office.

The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Serbia in the January-November period too grew 13% on the year, reaching 2,525,818. In November alone, the number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Serbia rose by 31% year-on-year, to 188,288.

The number of Croatian tourists who visited Serbia in November was the highest, up 25% to 7,863. Bosnian citizens followed, up 27% to 7,614, visitors from Slovenia, up 24% to 5,783.

The number of domestics tourists increased 15% on the year to 90,538 in November, taking the total number of tourists to 177,474, up 22% on the year. The total number of tourists in Serbia in the first eleven months of 2016 rose by 12.9% to 2,551,351.
