Gazprom Energoholding (GEH) is considering building two more gas-fired thermal power plants in Serbia to meet domestic electricity needs, GEH CEO Denis Fedorov said in an interview with an internal company magazine.
“Our company is considering the possibility of building two more plants for supplying heat and electricity to the population and industrial consumers,” Fedorov said.
It is planned that the gas thermal power plant, which GEH is currently building in Pancevo together with Gazpromneft for the supply of electricity to the Pancevo Refinery and the sale of electricity on the open market, will be put into operation in 2021, he added, Dnevnik reports.
