Between two editions of the White Book, the Serbian government managed to conduct fiscal consolidation and ensure good economic parameters as a foundation for high expectations for the future, Foreign Investors Council President Yana Mikhailova said Monday.

The FIC believes it is key for the new government to seize the moment and further expedite structural reforms, reduce bureaucracy and improve law enforcement, Mikhailova said at the White Book 2016 presentation, attended by PM Aleksandar Vucic and top government officials.

According to the White Book 2016, the biggest improvements were achieved in the real estate and construction sectors and the four areas of the general legal framework: protection of competition and consumers, state assistance and notarial services, as well as in the telecommunications, oil and gas and private insurance sectors.
