The highest pension check in Serbia of 1,150 euros is received by 33 users, and it is nine times higher than the one that arrives at the addresses of as many as 118,090 pensioners with the lowest pension.
All of them are from the category of employees and independent activities and their monthly income is 130 euros If it is compared to the amount that farmers receive, then the difference is even bigger.
According to the statistics of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, 122,590 farmers in Serbia receive only 100 euros, which is almost 12 times less than the pensioners with the thickest envelope. There is a big difference in relation to the average pension check of 230 euros, which shows that the average is five times lower than the best paid pensioner.
However, there are almost 200,000 beneficiaries on the list of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund who must be satisfied with a pension lower than the lowest legal amount. This means that they receive less than 130 euros. According to statistics, about 100,000 of the oldest received less than 80 euros.
The payment of all pensions will be in full until further notice, and no one could confirm how long it will last, but for now it is certain that we will not return to the payment in two parts – the beginning and the end of the month.
